Does anyone in the uk know where i can takeout a bank loan and not have to pay anything back for 6 months?
Answers:
Some places will do maybe 3 months, not sure about 6. Try this site, its a loan broker and they handle a number of loans so might be able to find one that suits you.

Well, this really is largely a common sense question. Could a total stranger come up to you and ask you to lend him a sum of money against his signed promise to start paying you back in six months? I don't think so, do you? Does the bank know you? Do you have a standing relationship with that bank at all? And do you have collateral? I would say that if you don't, then just about the only thing that would work would be if you know somebody who does have a working relationship with a particular bank, has funds in an account there, and would be prepared to co-sign a note. Only thing a lender of money is interested in is how they get their money back if you default on your promisory note. They need a lien on some kind of collateral - from you, or from a co-signatur - so if you skip town or that co-sig. does, the lender (in this case, a bank) can get the value of that loan back by taking possession of the collateral property and liquidating it. But you won't do business on a handshake any more. Those days are long gone. And as long as you are not paying anything back on the loan, the interest rate will be calculated monthly on the full amount, meaning that for six months, or a year, that you are not paying back on the loan, the clock will be ticking on the interest.
