How will foreign students getting loans and benefits in the UK pay it back?

Answers:
Only students from the EU can take out a student loan and this is only to cover the tuition fees (paid directly to the college/uni). They can not take out additional loans to cover maintenance like UK students. The fee's prior to 2006 were paid in the form of a grant but changed with the introduction to top up fees.

The money will be collected by the student loans company once they have completed the course and start earning. (They currently trace UK students who move outside the UK so shouldn't be a problem)
Foreign students coming into the UK are not eligible for state benefits or government loans, other than NHS services if they fall ill.
If they obtain loans from other sources it is up to the lender to decide if they are able to repay - and take the risk.
