Hi. Am looking to study in the UK. I don't have anything to offer as collateral. Is it possible to get a loan?

Also to add, I don't have anything to offer as security. Is it posssible to get educational loans for upto 4.5 Lakhs? Am totally baffled.

Answers:
I think it is possible. Go personally to the banks and talk to them.
I heard some banks are offering loans without security for foreign education.
Or otherwise the consultancy,s through which people go to abroad also help in getting the required loan amount.
So, Just give a Try! All The Best!!!
If you are in India, our Finance Ministry has given strict advice to the Banks to offer loans for education (including overseas) without insisting on security. But most of the Banks insist on a security not withstanding the advice. As the first answer suggested approach a bank (Andhra Bank, Allahabad Bank, IOB) in your locality. If they refuse send a mail to Finance Ministry. I was told that they have issued an Ad in papers about this a couple of weeks back. Best wishes. Don't ever try to show a false bank statement to the Visa officials, you may end up with a big trouble. Most of the Overseas consultants will promise you that they will do it, but never pay heed to them
First of all u tell me what r u doing now ? What is ur result ? Have qualified GRE or TOEFL ? These all factor is require for studying in UK. If u have got all this then surely u will be able go to UK. Money will not be the obstacle
