Student loans UK. do you have to defer payment or only pay when you earn enough?
i am also living abroad now.any advice?

you have to defer EVERY year until you earn about 2grand sterling per month, then they make yyou pay it back.
If you don't defer, you have to pay back what you haven't defered. (I am paying back 2 years that I missed, even tho I don't earn enough).

The repayments can be harsh but you have to earn in exess of £2000 a month before paying back and that as a rule is quite a while for graduates these days.
