a great way to get credit facilities if you have a bad credit reference is to apply for a credit card with capital one. (Be reasonably honest on your application form) They will start you off with a small credit facility of say 100. after a few months , if you keep up your payments they will offer to increase it. keep up your payments because when other banks check your credit refence, they will see that you are conducting your account with C1 properly and are much more likely to give you finance.
